2nd Feb 2023- Tamilnadu State Annual Awards
Vigor Solar Energy won the Bronze Award for the Best Rooftop Company of the Year 2023 at the Tamilnadu State Annual Awards Function held on 2n Feb 2023. Mr. Sikkander of Vigor Solar also participated in the seminar " Rooftop & Distributed Solar in Tamilnadu" as panel speaker.
6th June 2013 - World Environment Day, Olympia Technology Park
Vigor Solar Energy was invited by Visteon Technical and Services Centre to demonstrate renewable energy and solar power to their staff at Olympia Technology Park as part of the World Environment Day on 6th of June 2013 . The idea was to educate the staff on applications of solar energy and to present it as an affordable and economical solution to address the power requirements of households. Mr. Perumal Vasudevan of Visteon was the catalyst behind this exercise and he was highly pleased with the tremendous response and the high interest that was generated during the demonstration. Such was the high response that Visteon have asked Vigor Solar to repeat this activity before
the end of the year.
3rd Dec 2012 - Solar Power Awareness Session to Chinmaya Vidyalaya School
The Chennai chapter of Greenpeace India Society have initiated a School Program to educate school students in Chennai on environmental issues and renewable energy, particularly on using solar energy as an alternative energy solution. Greenpeace have invited Vigor Solar to collaborate with them in this initiative to demonstrate Solar Energy to students. The first solar energy demonstration program was held on 3rd December 2012 for 11th standard students. A presentation on Solar Energy followed by a practical demonstration was given to the students.. Ms. Suchi Subhra of Greenpeace India commented "The students have definitely benefited from the presentation on Solar power. Thanks to you and your team."
2 Feb 2013 - Solar Power Session Held in Salem for the Textile Association
A session, "Solar Power - A New Hope for Textile Industry in Salem" was held by Textile Association of India - Salem Unit in association with Vigor Solar & Rays Power Experts on 2 Feb 2013 at Sona College of Technology. Mr. Sikkander and Mr. Jude along with Directors of Rays Power Experts Mr. Rahul Gupta & Praveen Nune gave a presentation on how the Textile Units in Salem can overcome the power crisis by setting up solar power plants at an economical cost that can also reduce their power costs considerably. Vigor Solar & Rays Experts offered to provide a turnkey solution including the relevant approvals, design, installation & maintenance of the solar plant.
14 Feb 2013 - Solar Power Presentation to Rotary Club of Nagercoil South
A presentation on Solar Power was given to the Rotary Club of Nagercoil South on 14 Feb 2013. Mr. Jude gave a presentation on various solar power technology options and the economic benefits of installing solar power systems.
